Sarah - Co-Founder
Sarah is kind, gracious, compassionate and has a heart of encouragement. She has been living in Nepal for the past 6 years and is part of the team working there. She enjoys travelling, photography, sports and playing games. She is married and has two young children.
Sarah has seen first-hand the great need and challenges that these young people face, which is why she has a great heart for young people, wishing to see them reach their potential and fulfil their dreams. She is also passionate about seeing lives transformed. Sarah helps to equip and empower young people through coaching.
Andrzej - Co-founder and Chair of Trustees
Andrzej is kind, excitable, and adventurous with networking being one of his fortes. A keen Beekeeper and the driving force of the Charity, he has 26 years’ experience as a GP; 7 years as a Volunteer Coordinator and Fundraising Coordinator for a Charity and 5 years running his own charitable social enterprise - Bee Blest. He’s currently caring, full-time for his elderly Dad.
Andrzej is personally involved in Nepal, having visited several times and witnessed life in the villages and at the hostel first-hand. He has been struck both by the need among the poor in the villages and by the great and real possibilities of transforming impoverished communities. He is passionate about helping bring justice and is thrilled and privileged to be able to play a significant part in this work.
Jayne - Safeguarding Trustee
Jayne enjoys running, walking and getting involved with initiatives in the local community. She has over 30 years of experience working with young people and vulnerable adults in both the public and Charity sector. She has been a Safeguarding coordinator for a charity and brings experience of both project and staff and volunteer management.
Jayne is currently working in the areas of leadership development, coaching and Reflective Supervision. She holds a Professional Certificate in managing staff training & development and Reflective Supervision.
Zdenek - Trustee
Sid is a devoted physiotherapist with a desire for making a difference. His dedication to aiding people and enhancing their lives runs deep. He is enthusiastic, friendly, and has a zest for life. He also finds joy in playing various musical instruments.
Sid’s profound connection with Nepal has led him to foster meaningful relationships with individuals on the ground, granting him insight into the nation's needs and challenges. Sid also expresses his creativity and unwavering passion through fundraising and contributing to the team’s mission. He wishes to make a positive change in the lives of those seeking aid.
Joseph - Trustee
Joseph is a husband and father of two. He is charismatic, adventurous and kind. Joseph George is a Christian Minister and Founder of a Christian Charity that uses the creative industries to carry out humanitarian efforts across the World.
Joseph enjoys listening to and producing music, making videos, producing podcasts, cooking, watching football and super-hero movies. His heart for Gospel impact and the desire to improve the standard of living of individuals in developing nations has got him particularly interested in the work of Nurture for Nepal.
