Our Aim
Nurture Nepal’s aim is to break the cycle of marginalisation and poverty through education, providing the essential tools to create a meaningful and bright future. Our focus is to raise these young people’s aspirations above the stereotypes that they have come to accept as the norm. We believe in supporting them throughout their educational life and giving them opportunities they have never had before.
What Do We Do And Why?
We offer young people sponsorships to enable them to gain a higher level of education and cover associated costs. We believe acquiring a high-level education is life-changing. With marginalisation in mind, we focus on providing support for girls and women in particular, to help increase their prospects in life and also reduce child labour and child marriage by staying in education for longer.
Nurture Nepal offer students residential housing, covers living expenses, and provides grants to cover the tuition fees for certain students who meet the required criteria, for example, parents of extremely low income. Our dedicated staff are available 24/7 for student support.
On top of this, we also aspire to equip students with diverse skills, including:
English lessons
Leadership skills
First Aid
Music, such as guitar
